 I
love to swim, but more than that I can think of no greater pleasure
than of being in the water. I love to float, I love the sensation
of being immersed, the sensory deprivation of being underwater. I
love light reflected off water, the shapes of bodies - my body - seen
through liquid. I love pool design and I love spa town architecture.
I love to visit pools and baths with character wherever I am. My history is peppered with pools of all kinds and this little section - part travelogue, part memoir, part factor X - is devoted to that fact. |
