About
Charlotte Cooper   My name is Charlotte Cooper, I am one of many Charlotte Coopers in the world. I live in Stratford, East London, and I contribute to a blog called The Last Place, which is about how the area is being affected by the Olympics - or uhlympics, as I prefer to think of them.
Spark This site is an ongoing collection of stuff that I've written, made or done. I started building it in 2002. For a while I updated it monthly but now I've slowed down. It's a clunky old site but is full of hidden gems that I hope you will enjoy. Get on my mailing list for a prod when new stuff appears.
Sarit took this picture in 1998!   I support DIY culture and have been involved with many organisations, including 3AM, The Chubsters, The Clerkenwell Literary Festival, various LadyFests, Ladies Rock! and Girls Rock!, NOLOSE, The Queer Storytelling Festival, Queeruption, Transfabulous, The York Lesbian Arts Festival, and more.
Evil me   I love to read/perform my writing in front of an audience. I love to collaborate with people. In the past I've devised and run workshops around fat and body stuff, zine-making and creative writing. Wanna invite me to do something? Get in touch.
Let me shrink your head   I'm currently in training to be a psychotherapist/counsellor. I'm studying an integrative model and in the future I'd like to incorporate my work around fat and my knowledge of queer identities into my practice.
The 123s

I have a boyfriend and a girlfriend. Simon co-founded the queercore band Six Inch Killaz and does stuff. Kay and I made BadToonRising.com together. The three of us sometimes perform as our pretend band, The 123s.

Paul and Rosemary Cooper My mum died of cancer when I was 18 and my eldest brother died in a car crash about a year later. Even though they died a long time ago, I still like to talk about them. Send an email if you'd like to hear a story about Paul and Rosemary.
Tomato star   Still not enough information? I update my friends-locked LiveJournal pretty regularly; I have an occasional blip.tv video blog; and I'm on all the usual social networking sites. Come and say hi.
