M, S and CF, London We have had the loveliest holiday in The Garden House, enjoying the kindest welcome, all the cosy comforts of the house, friendly sheep and hens, fresh Welsh air and the smell of meadow hay. The Garden House clean and comfortable with flowers on the table - the newness still on everything: red towels and scarlet and white rubber ring cushions (amazingly comfortable) and the good hot shower. I loved the view down the homestead, and making the meal looking out of the kitchen window to see the sheep coming in and going out (as they felt inclined). I loved coming back from our trips in the dale, going to stand outside the stables to hear the animals shift about inside and to smell the good hay. It was good too to go into the sheds one morning and be introduved to all the different ewes by Katie. Thank you Stewart, for visiting us in the cabin to give us the local paper and information about the best places to visit. Thank you both for a wonderful relaxing place to stay, and a very happy time. GG, Cornwall I came to stay at The Garden House with my dogs during a most stressful time. My friend was undergoing a major operation at West Wales Hospital. Stewart and Katie made my stay with my animals less stressful. The Garden House is delightful and has everything one needs. Katie’s walks were a source of great enjoyment  to me and the warmth given was what made everything more bearable. The little parcels left at my door made my stay much more than a refuge at a very worrying time. Thank you both so much. Like a cute and cosy little house that's also well-equipped with all the modern conveniences. It's great to be able to stay in such an interesting area and yet be independent and comfortable. I love the fact that the chalet still smells of Norwegian wood. Really good value.
