Tynewydd
is approximately five minutes drive from central Carmarthen
in Southwest Wales, just off the A485.
Visit Streetmap
to see a map of our location. You can use the controls on
the bottom right of the Streetmap screen to zoom in and out
which will help you get an idea of where we are.
Coming via public transport? Carmarthen is connected to the
national bus and rail network. Get a cab from the town centre,
or call us and we'll come and pick you up.
Alternatively,
here are some directions:
Get onto the Carmarthen bypass, which avoids the town centre.
Follow roundabout signs for the Hospital A&E department until
you reach the roundabout where the hospital is indicated on
one side and the A485 to Lampeter is indicated on the other.
Take the Lampeter turning.
About 300 yards up this sloping road you'll see a lone white
house with a conservatory on the left hand side of the road.
Opposite the house is a turning marked 'Unsuitable for HGVs'.
Take this turn (unless you are driving an HGV!).
Drive down and around this little lane for about 300 yards
until you come to a T-Junction. Take the left, signposted
Peniel. Almost immediately the road forks to the right - ignore
it. About 200 yards along the road lie two houses. The one
on the left is Tynewydd. Park on the hard standing in front
of the garage and come on in.
