Stewart
Cooper
A wanderlust became embedded in his psyche at a young age after spending
some time as a bus conductor in rural Derbyshire. Eventually Stew
became an employee of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, specialising
in communications (Morse Code!) and at last his travel became more
extensive than it was on the buses. Stew progressed to other technical
areas of the Service and retired after 30 years, moving to Tynewydd
via Hampshire. |

Katie
Cooper
Brought up in a rural farming environment, Katie became a keen horsewoman
who raced 18 seasons of point-to-point until an injury forced her
to hang up her riding boots. A trained chef, Katie has worked as a
caterer in London and Devon, although her passion for horses has not
diminished. |
The
animals
Katie keeps a small flock of sheep in the fields surrounding the house
and there are chickens and a pair of geese who provide delicious free-range
eggs. Three energetic Jack Russell terriers and a Border Collie also
share Tynewydd. |

Wildlife
Stew and Katie love to observe the wildlife that thrives in the land
around the house. Frequent visitors include foxes and even a badger.
Birds are the main attraction; buzzards, red kites, various finches
and tits, even nuthatches and woodpeckers have been seen. Keep your
eyes open! |
